Delete your Spot account

Spot is a shared grocery-list app. You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

In the app

1. Open Spot and sign in.
2. On Your lists, tap the ⋮ menu (top right).
3. Tap Delete my account, then Delete forever.

If you’ve uninstalled the app

Email privacy@spotgrocery.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We erase it within 30 days (usually right away).

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials.
• The lists you created and all their items.
• Your verification photos (removed from storage within minutes).
• Invitations addressed to you.

Lists you joined as a partner stay on the owner’s account — they aren’t ours to delete — but your name is removed from them. In rare cases we may retain specific content for a limited period where the law requires it (for example, a report we are legally obligated to preserve); see our Privacy Policy.
